Camping Essentials

We’re a simple site, aiming to provide a low impact, sustainable holiday experience without compromising on comfort.
  • Fresh Drinking Water is available on site.
  • Two Compost Toilets for a poo with a view!
  • Please note: we’re a chemical-toilet-free site, so we kindly ask guests not to bring portable camping loos.
After a salty day at the beach:
  • Enjoy an unlimited hot shower and a private washroom – perfect for rinsing off the sea-salt after a day body boarding.
  • A wash-up area is available, along with a fridge and freezer for ice blocks, accessible to all campers and glampers.

On-Site Extras

  • Tasty Treats: Enjoy marshmallows, our homemade jams and elderflower cordial – perfect for a fireside snack.
  • Fresh Eggs: Our resident ducks lay fresh eggs daily. Early risers are welcome to join in collecting them and even help feed the ducks their breakfast!
  • Herb Garden: Help yourself to seasonal herbs from our dedicated campers’ herb garden – ideal for adding flavour to your campsite cooking.
  • Organic Veg & Salad: We grow fresh, organic vegetables and salad, available to all guests for a small donation.
  • Campfire Supplies: Firewood is available to purchase, with free kindling included. Just bring your own firelighters and matches for a cosy evening around the flames.

 

Local Amenities

    • Nearby Shop: A short walk away in Blaencelyn, you’ll find a small shop and Post Office stocked with essentials.
    • Further Afield: For a wider selection of groceries and fresh produce, head to Brynhoffnant (10 minutes by car) or Cardigan (25 minutes), where you’ll find two supermarkets.

Our Commitment to the Planet

We believe in living in harmony with nature and having as little impact as possible on the world around us. Here’s how we try to be kinder to our planet:
  • Recycling and sorting waste to reduce landfill
  • Upcycling, mending and reusing wherever we can
  • Promoting a “pass-it-on” culture – share what you don’t need!
  • Choosing eco-friendly products for cleaning and daily use
  • Buying in bulk to cut down on packaging waste
  • Using solar power to light up the site
  • Generating our own energy with solar panels
  • Offering electric vehicle charging on site
  • Reducing light pollution to protect wildlife and enjoy starry skies
  • Encouraging biodiversity by rewilding and letting areas grow naturally
  • Planting native trees to restore and enrich the landscape
  • Growing our own organic fruit and vegetables for guests (and us!) to enjoy
  • Using compost toilets, which help feed our plants and reduce reliance on energy-intensive sewerage systems
